FOREST OF ARDEN

An irregular relationship between three geometric forms creates a modular coffee table system capable of generating a wide range of configurations across different lengths and widths.

Designed for Studio Schrofer and their client Casprini, this project explored how mathematical logic and form development could create both visual playfulness and functional flexibility. During the design process, I used geometric studies and mathematical configurations to develop a base form that could be subdivided into components with the greatest number of equivalent edges possible, maximizing the potential for recombination.

Beginning with a simple trapezoidal geometry, the system evolved into a modular language capable of producing more than 25 unique arrangements. The resulting tables adapt to different spaces, use cases, and interior styles while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
